Job description

Superpower is on a mission to change the way people engage with their health, for life.

If healthcare were built today, it would look completely different. Personalized. Preventative. Performance enhancing.

To accomplish this mission, we’re building the most comprehensive and convenient longevity system on the planet – a thoughtfully designed, all-in-one platform for easily improving our personal health. We deliver the most advanced diagnostics and vetted therapeutics to those who seek a longer, healthier and more vital life. Fundamentally, we believe that every person deserves access to the world’s best care, and that everyone should have sovereignty over their own health.

Welcome to a new era of personal health.

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and product-minded Growth Engineer to join our team. You will work hand-in-hand with the Growth Product Lead and CTO to build, launch, and iterate on product experiences that fuel our company’s growth. The ideal candidate is a data-driven full-stack developer who excels at rapid experimentation and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Full-Stack Development for Growth

    • Build, optimize, and maintain features focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention

    • Develop front-end interfaces (React, Tailwind CSS, etc.) and back-end services (Node.js, Express, AWS)

    • Maintain and improve continuous integration/deployment pipelines

  2. Experimentation & Data Analysis

    • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to drive key metrics (signups, conversions, referrals, etc.)

    • Collaborate with product and data teams to integrate analytics tools, track performance, and identify growth opportunities

    • Use data insights to propose and prioritize experiments that will move the needle for user engagement

  3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Efforts

    • Partner with Product, Design, and Marketing to rapidly prototype and launch new ideas

    • Communicate progress, results, and blockers with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines

    • Leverage feedback to iterate quickly and deliver effective, user-focused features

  4. Infrastructure & Performance

    • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability across all growth-related products

    • Monitor and optimize performance to deliver a smooth user experience

    • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools for seamless deployments (e.g., AWS Fargate, Docker, GitHub Actions)

  5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices for growth engineering

    • Contribute ideas to enhance our development tooling, documentation, and overall engineering culture

    • Actively seek out ways to increase team efficiency, code quality, and reduce technical debt

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in fast-paced startup environments

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, and AWS or similar cloud infrastructure

  • Experience working with analytics and A/B testing frameworks, plus a solid understanding of metrics/KPIs for growth

  • Strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Data, Marketing)

  • Excellent communication skills; able to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Growth mindset with a relentless focus on improvement and experimentation

  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and GitHub Actions

  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Storybook) and project management software (Linear, Notion, Slack) is a plus

  • Ability to operate independently in a remote-first environment, taking ownership of your work and driving it to completion

Cementing the opportunity

  • The world’s biggest company will be in consumer healthcare

  • Solving longevity – the most important problem of our time

  • The most magical health tech business fundamentals

  • A mayo clinic executive program 2.0 in the cloud

Company Philosophies

  • We are all here to genuinely do our life’s best work.

  • Insanely high talent bar, never settling. A players only (see steve jobs)

  • We live to work as much as we work to live. But we sustainably espouse the superpower ethos of putting health first.

  • We aim to set the gold standard for team health culture on the planet - live the ethos!
