Remote Jobs Work From Home (remotejobsworkfromhome.com) is a job board: we collect listings published elsewhere and make them easier to search. This page describes what we collect about you while you do that, and why.

What we collect, and why

Browsing the site

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and searches are useful, in aggregate. It sets cookies in your browser; we do not build a profile tied to your name or email from it.

When you click Apply on a listing, we record that a click happened — not who made it. The record is keyed to your IP address hashed with a salt that changes daily, which lets us avoid double-counting the same visitor without being able to reverse the hash back to an address. Applying itself happens entirely on the employer's own site; we never collect your CV, an account, or payment details for an application.

The contact form

If you write to us, we store your name, email, phone number (if you give one) and message, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. We also send ourselves a notification email through Resend, a transactional email provider, using the address you gave us as the reply-to.

The resume builder

If you use the resume builder on a job page, your PDF is read in memory to build a tailored copy and then discarded — it is never written to disk or kept after the response is sent. If you tick the box offering to keep your contact details for future opportunities, we store your name, email, phone and the role you were looking at; if you leave it unticked, none of that is stored.

Reporting a listing

A report you submit about a listing is stored for our review. It never changes the listing automatically — reports are read by a person, not acted on by a script.

Posting a job

If you post a job as an employer, we store what you submit (company details, the listing, your contact email) and process payment through Dodo Payments. We do not store your card details — Dodo does, under its own security and privacy practices.

Who else sees this data

Google Analytics (aggregate usage), Resend (sending the contact-form email), Cloudflare Turnstile (distinguishing a person from a bot on the resume builder), and Dodo Payments (processing employer payment) are the services we use. Each is a data processor for the specific job named here; none of them receives more than that.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not estimate a salary figure, invent a location, or infer eligibility we were not told — the same accuracy standard we hold job listings to, we hold ourselves to.

Your choices

Write to us at techjits.com@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. For the resume builder, the simplest choice is the tickbox itself: leave it unticked and nothing is stored in the first place.
