Thrive’s culture is powered by diverse talent, big ideas, and a customer-first mindset—and it’s what truly sets us apart. Thrive is built for people who want more than a weekday routine. If you’re hungry to grow, eager to tackle new challenges and ready to drive real impact in a rapidly expanding environment, then welcome to THRIVE!

Position Overview

As a Microsoft AI Solutions Developer, you will build client-facing AI solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, with a primary focus on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 data integration. You will collaborate with Microsoft Advisory to translate defined business outcomes, use cases, governance requirements, and solution priorities into technical solutions that can be built, integrated, deployed, and supported. You will develop custom agents, workflows, data-connected AI solutions, and reusable implementation patterns that help clients securely apply enterprise data to practical AI use cases.

This is a hands-on build role spanning AI solution development, data engineering, workflow automation, and production deployment within Microsoft environments. You will work directly with the Applied AI Technical Lead, Microsoft Advisory, and client stakeholders to move solutions from requirements through design, build, testing, deployment, and support across regulated and mid-market client environments.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients, Microsoft Advisory, and internal technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate defined use cases, and support technical project scoping
  • Develop custom Microsoft AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 data sources
  • Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Fabric environments to support AI, analytics, and data integration use cases
  • Support onboarding, configuration, and validation of client data sources for AI-enabled use cases
  • Build and test data pipelines, semantic models, lakehouse patterns, and retrieval-ready data structures in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Connect AI applications, agents, workflows, and copilots to client data sources across Microsoft 365, Fabric, Dataverse, APIs, and approved enterprise systems
  • Implement solutions within defined security, governance, identity, permissions, and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoot integrations between Azure AI services, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and client data environments
  • Create reusable templates, patterns, and accelerators for common client AI use cases
  • Document solution architectures, deployment procedures, configuration decisions, and support handoff requirements

Ideal Experience

  • 1–2 years of client-facing experience in a technical, consulting, implementation, or delivery role
  • 1–4 years of software development, data engineering, automation, or AI solution development experience
  • Strong prompt engineering, context engineering, and technical solution design skills for AI-enabled applications
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience building GPTs, projects, skills, agents, assistants, and workflows
  • Experience using Microsoft Fabric components such as lakehouses, warehouses, semantic models, Data Factory, OneLake, Power BI, and data security concepts
  • Familiarity with APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and enterprise data integrations
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance, identity, permissions, and secure deployment patterns across Microsoft environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern data platform experience
  • Python, SQL, REST APIs, Graph API, and custom connector development
  • Experience deploying AI solutions into production with monitoring, documentation, and support handoff
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and permission models for Microsoft 365, Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform
