Job Description

We are looking for a Product Ownerwith hands-on experience in AI agents to manage the product backlog, translate business needs into clear requirements, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable AI-powered solutions. The role focuses on configuring and validating agent behavior, defining acceptance criteria, identifying risks and edge cases, and ensuring agents meet quality and safety expectations before release.

Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the product backlog for an engineering team developing AI agents.

  • Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with engineering to clarify scope, prioritize functionality, resolve ambiguities, and keep implementation moving.

  • Participate directly in configuring, testing, and validating agent behavior across relevant interaction channels.

  • Define test scenarios, user acceptance criteria, and exit criteria for agent releases.

  • Identify edge cases, failure modes, and risks associated with agents interacting with real consumers.

  • Ensure appropriate guardrails and expected behaviors are considered before release.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), beta preparation, and the collection of feedback with other Hibu stakeholders.

  • Use AI tools to improve product workflows while maintaining ownership of the quality and accuracy of requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, other Product Owners, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Direct AI agent experience: Has participated in configuring, testing, integrating, or shipping AI agents as part of a software product or workflow.

  • Agent testing and validation: Can define acceptance and exit criteria, design test scenarios, evaluate agent behavior, identify failure cases, and determine readiness for release.

  • Product ownership: Has owned or actively managed a product backlog, written requirements and user stories, defined acceptance criteria, and prioritized features with engineering teams.

  • Technical understanding of AI: Understands how LLMs, agent workflows, prompts, grounding, guardrails, and AI services work in practice, including their limitations and potential failure modes.

  • APIs and system integrations: Understands how APIs and integrations work and can participate meaningfully in technical conversations with engineers. Familiarity with MCP is also expected.

  • Agile/Scrum delivery: Understands sprint cadence, development workflows, release processes, and how to keep an engineering team supplied with clear, actionable requirements.

  • AI-assisted product work: Has experience using AI tools to support product work and can review, correct, and validate AI-generated requirements rather than relying on unverified output.

  • Cross-functional communication and ownership: Can gather missing information, make decisions within their scope, remove blockers, and escalate when necessary.

What We Offer

At Jobsity, we know that a positive professional experience goes beyond the role itself.

Depending on the position, client, country, and type of contract, professionals may have access to different benefits, programs, and resources designed to support their well-being, development, and remote-work experience.

These may include

● Remote-work flexibility

● Opportunities to collaborate with international teams

● Access to tools and resources that support your work

● Career growth opportunities based on performance, business needs, and available roles

Because each opportunity is different, the specific benefits associated with a position will always be communicated during the recruitment process.
