Senior Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our innovative team at Jabil, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications, contributing to the full software development lifecycle, and mentoring junior developers.

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and robust software solutions.
  * Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural patterns.
  * Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
  * Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  * Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  * Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development processes and product quality.
  * Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
  * Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.
  
  Job Qualifications**
• Experience with agentic development (Claude Code, Github Copilot)
  * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  * 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
  * Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js/React).
  * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  * Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
  * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  * Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) if applicable to the role.
  * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  * Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.
  * Experience in the manufacturing or supply chain industry is a plus.
