This is a remote position.

SeniorSSISDeveloper–JobDescription

Experience:7–9YearsPrimarySkill:SSIS(SQLServerIntegrationServices)Role:SeniorSSISDeveloper/TechnicalConsultant

KeyResponsibilities

  • Design,develop,test,deploy,andmaintainSSISpackagesforenterpriseETLanddataintegration.


  • DevelopETLsolutionstoextract,transform,andloaddatafrommultiplesourcesystems.


  • SupportandenhanceexistingSSISinterfacesandintegrations.


  • TroubleshootSSISpackagefailures,dataissues,andproductionincidents.


  • DevelopandoptimizecomplexSQLqueries,storedprocedures,functions,views,anddatabaseobjects.


  • IntegratedatafromSQLServer,Oracle,flatfiles,CSV/Excelfiles,andSFTPlocations.


  • Implementerrorhandling,logging,auditing,notifications,andrestart/recoverymechanisms.


  • ScheduleandmonitorSSISjobsusingSQLServerAgent.


  • PerformSSISpackageandSQLqueryperformancetuningforhigh-volumedataprocessing.


  • Conductimpactanalysis,effortestimation,codereviews,andtechnicaldocumentation.


  • Supportdeploymentsacrossdevelopment,UAT,andproductionenvironments.


  • ProvideL2/L3productionsupport,root-causeanalysis,andpermanentfixesforrecurringissues.


  • Collaboratewithfunctionalteams,applicationteams,DBAs,andbusinessstakeholders.


  • Mentorjuniordevelopersandprovidetechnicalguidancewhenrequired.

MandatoryTechnicalSkills

  • 7–9yearsofoverallITexperiencewithstronghands-onexpertiseinSSISandSQLServer.


  • StrongexperienceinETLdevelopment,dataintegration,anddatamigration.


  • AdvancedknowledgeofT-SQLandMicrosoftSQLServer.


  • Experiencewithstoredprocedures,functions,views,joins,indexing,queryoptimization,andperformancetuning.


  • Hands-onexperiencewithSSIScomponents:


    • DataFlowTasksandControlFlowTasks


    • Lookup,Merge,andConditionalSplit


    • DerivedColumnandExecuteSQLTask


    • ScriptTaskandFileSystemTask


  • KnowledgeofSSISconfigurations,parameters,variables,connectionmanagers,anddeploymentmodels.


  • Experienceimplementinglogging,exceptionhandling,auditcontrols,andfailure/restartmechanisms.


  • ExperiencewithSQLServerAgentjobsandscheduling.


  • Strongtroubleshooting,root-causeanalysis,andproductionsupportexperience.

PreferredSkills

  • SSISintegrationwithOracleandheterogeneousdatasources.


  • SFTPandautomatedfile-basedintegrations.


  • Git,AzureDevOps,orothersource-controlandCI/CDtools.


  • ExposuretoAzureDataFactory(ADF).


  • Agile/Scrumdeliveryexperience.


  • KnowledgeofITILprocesses,includingIncident,Problem,andChangeManagement.
