Job description

Trilon is building a supercharged, technology-enabled future for our people and partners. The Technical Program Manager, Digital Products plays a critical role in that mission by driving development execution across product and engineering teams.
This role drives agile planning, execution and release management for Trilon’s platform as a service, a zero to MVP launch. Building and continuously improving new digital product experiences empowers our infrastructure consulting firms to deliver client value—a competitive market differentiator.
The Technical Program Manager drives product strategy into execution across Product Management, Engineering, Experience Design, Data & Analytics and Product Marketing. This pivotal role drives quarterly and incremental planning, manages cross-team dependencies, improves delivery predictability, and keeps teams focused on iterative releases of working software.
In addition to supporting our platform development lifecycle, this role manages a portfolio of digital product launches including custom applications and third-party software integrations for architecture, engineering and infrastructure consulting workflows. This product landscape encompasses computer aided design (CAD), geospatial suites (GIS) and enterprise resourcing planning (Deltek Vantagepoint).
As a founding member of the Digital Products team, you will drive the operating rhythm across Product and Engineering disciplines, launching experiences that delight our customers. The Technical Program Manager reports to the Director of Product Management, Digital Platforms as part of a founding cross-functional leadership team.
This role requires portfolio level planning finesse, technical dependency management and dynamic communication skills from leadership alignment to development team ceremonies. If you love to unblock the actual work of software development, drive cross-functional collaboration, and deeply respect all disciplines, you will thrive in this role.

  • Translate strategic priorities and product roadmaps into coordinated delivery plans, milestones, decision points, and measurable outcomes
  • Maintain visibility into scope, schedule, dependencies, capacity, risks, and key decisions throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Facilitate cross-team advance planning, dependency and resourcing reviews, retrospectives, and program-level insights
  • Lead teams through effective release planning, refinement, sizing, incremental delivery, release candidates, UAT and GTM launches
  • Partner with Product Managers to connect customer problems, business priorities, and product outcomes to executable plans
  • Collaborate with Engineering leaders to align sequencing, technical dependencies, quality expectations, and operational readiness
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions when priorities, capacity, or timelines compete

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years managing digital product releases (SaaS, PaaS, digital consulting)
  • Expertise and certification in agile planning, development, R&D and production level releases (CSM, CSPO, PMP, PMI-ACP)
  • Expert level Atlassian management including Jira, Plans and integrated Releases across multiple Work Spaces/Projects
  • Experience in velocity reporting and Teams planning for alternate pod staffing models (resource modeling)
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools or enterprise platforms is a plus
  • Experience in AEC, engineering, or project-based professional services environments is a strong advantage
