Job description
Schedule: 4-day week, 32 hours a week
Position Overview
The Account Coordinator (AC) is the ‘organizational backbone’ of each client account. They provide administrative and executional support on a variety of deliverables for 4-5 client accounts. The AC will also support Corporate Ink agency initiatives separate from client work, which include administrative and research projects.
What makes a great AC?
You have a sharp attention to detail (no typos or errors get past you!), are curious, and are extremely organized. You show an eagerness to learn, grow, and help the team through your willingness to jump in on a variety of different projects. You’re responsive and accountable. Your teammates know you will get the job done and do it to the best of your ability, and that you’ll proactively raise questions or concerns early so the work gets done in the way it needs to, every single time.
You’re careful to not repeat mistakes, open to feedback, and thoughtful in the questions you ask to learn about the job, agency and marketing and PR. You also enjoy staying current on relevant client and PR industry news and trends.
ACs will work closely with at least one other account team member on assignments as they learn the ropes. AAEs, AEs, SAEs and/or AMs will guide ACs on their work and help them learn their craft.
If you’re looking to quickly grow in your career, get into an exciting industry at the ground level, and learn the ins and outs of marketing and PR, this is the role for you!
Requirements
- At least one year of agency or in-house experience in a public relations role or relevant internship experience
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Able to multitask, work successfully in fast paced environments, and work effectively as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing concentration
