About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a technology-driven financial services environment. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production systems.

You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of robust, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance monitoring and performance analysis tools to improve system observability and reliability.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and system architecture design, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Maintain and optimise Terraform configurations, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
  • Automate operational processes and improve infrastructure management efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders across different regions to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong practical experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with logging solutions such as Fluent Bit and Loki.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and develop automation tools.
  • Experience implementing GitOps workflows using Argo CD is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting high-availability, low-latency systems, particularly cryptocurrency exchanges or trading platforms, is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to on-premises infrastructure and hybrid environments is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across APAC and EMEA time zones.
  • A genuine interest in technology and financial services environments.

What Makes This Opportunity Interesting?

  • Work on challenging cloud infrastructure and automation projects.
  • Contribute to the reliability and performance of business-critical systems.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineering teams in a financial technology environment.
  • Take ownership of infrastructure improvements, deployment processes, and operational excellence.
