Job description

Schedule: 4-day week, 32 hours a week

What does this role do?

A Managing Consultant is the person who leads our engagements with clients. It’s a senior role which combines a mixture of leadership and broad sustainability subject matter expertise. You’ll be leading a team of consultants and architects in large scale enterprise programmes. It’s a role which has a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from discussing strategy with Chief Executives to ensuring a programme of work is running to plan.

You’ll have accountability for ensuring our engagements are profitable, so you’ll need great commercial business sense. You’ll also need great people skills, to make sure the people working in your team are reaching their full potential and are fulfilled in the work they do.

Finally, in this senior role, you’ll be expected to contribute significantly to making Jordisk a success. That will include contributing to helping us manage our impact as a B Corp business and helping us plan as a business for the future.

Who should apply for this role?

You will be ideal for this role if you have experience in two areas:

  1. Leading complex enterprise scale sustainability programmes
  1. A broad skillset in Sustainability, relevant to large enterprises

For the first point, we’ll want to see evidence that you understand the challenge of running a complex programme at a level of quality and professionalism that is focused on client satisfaction.

Your knowledge in sustainability will be the foundation of your experience. Ideally, you will have worked in or with large corporate organisations and understand the complex challenges of adjusting an organisations business model to incorporate sustainability.

Finally, we’ll be looking for a real spark of energy from you. We want people who are motivated to lead progress at a scale and pace that the world needs. If all this sounds like that’s you, then we’d love to hear from you.
