(formerly Pure Storage) is adding a Systems (Presales) Engineer to our Commercial district in France, covering the PACA region from Marseille or Aix-en-Provence.</p> <p>This is a field presales role for someone with 5+ years of hands-on SE experience who enjoys owning a territory. You will partner with several Account Executives across a mixed portfolio: large regional accounts where you drive the technical agenda, public-sector organizations in health, social services and heavy industry, and a long tail of mid-sized companies where speed and pragmatism win.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the technical relationship across your territory: discovery, architecture, demos, proofs of concept and technical closure, on Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud platform.</li> <li>Take the initiative in large accounts: build activity, find new use cases, and create opportunities rather than wait for them.</li> <li>Sell outcomes, not boxes: position services and consumption models (Evergreen//One, storage-as-a-service) credibly with IT and finance stakeholders.</li> <li>Work day to day with your Account Executives and with channel partners in the region.</li> <li>Own technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.</li> <li>Contribute to a national SE team that shares knowledge and wins across districts.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING – REQUIRED</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years in a field presales / Systems Engineer / Solutions Engineer role, ideally with a territory or multi-account scope.</li> <li>Solid general infrastructure culture: compute, virtualisation, networking, data protection, and how they fit together in real customer environments.</li> <li>Experience selling services, subscription or consumption models: you can explain the commercial side as well as the technical one.</li> <li>A senior, autonomous way of working: you take initiative, drive activity in large accounts, and manage your own agenda.</li> <li>Curiosity: you learn new technology quickly and like finding new use cases for it.</li> <li>Based in or near Marseille / Aix-en-Provence, with a driving licence.</li> <li>Fluent French and professional English.</li> </ul> <p><strong>NICE TO HAVE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enterprise storage experience (SAN, NAS, object, data protection). Valuable, not required: a dedicated onboarding quarter covers it.</li> <li>Background at an infrastructure, data-protection or open-source vendor, or at a services company.</li> <li>Existing relationships with IT teams in the PACA region.</li> </ul> <p><strong>LOCATION &amp; TRAVEL</strong></p> <ul> <li>Home-based in the Marseille / Aix-en-Provence area.</li> <li>Expect to be with customers around half your time or more.
