Job description
About the role
RetailNext is looking for a Sales Operations Associate to help our sales team run faster and smarter. You’ll own day-to-day support of our sales tech stack (Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo), build the reports leadership uses to run the business, help reps get the most out of our tools and processes, and keep cross-functional projects moving from kickoff to launch.
This is a hands-on role for someone who likes both the data and the details. You’ll work closely with sales reps, sales leadership, finance, marketing, and engineering, and you’ll get a direct view into how a SaaS revenue engine actually runs.
Reports to: Global Manager, Sales Operations
Location: South Africa
What You’ll Do
Sales Operations & Analytics
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for pipeline, forecast, bookings, and rep activity
- Prepare data for weekly forecast and commit reporting, and flag gaps or hygiene issues before they become problems
- Keep CRM data clean (opportunity stages, close dates, required fields) by working with reps to fix what’s off
- Pull and analyze data for ad hoc requests from sales leadership, finance, and the executive team
- Prepare territory, account assignment, and quota data for quarterly and annual planning
Sales Tech Stack Administration
- Be the first point of contact for Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo questions, growing into day-to-day admin ownership
- Manage user provisioning, licenses, permissions, and basic configuration across tools
- Keep integrations and data flows between systems working (for example, ZoomInfo enrichment and Salesloft activity syncing to Salesforce)
- Troubleshoot user issues and escalate to vendors or internal engineering when needed
- Document processes, field definitions, and how-to guides for the sales team
Project Management
- Run sales ops projects end to end: scope requirements, build timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and track delivery
- Help roll out new tools, process changes, and system improvements, including testing, training, and change communication
- Keep sales leadership up to date with regular project status updates
- Track adoption after launch and close the loop on user feedback
Sales Enablement
- Onboard new sales hires on the tech stack and core sales processes (opportunity management, forecasting, activity logging)
- Create and maintain enablement content: tool guides, process playbooks, short video walkthroughs, and FAQs
- Deliver live and recorded training on new tools, process changes, and best practices
- Coordinate the monthly sales enablement series with Product and Marketing, from topics and speakers to materials
- Use Gong to spot coaching themes and pull call examples that bring training to life
- Track tool adoption and training completion, and follow up where usage lags
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, or a similar analytical role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
- Hands-on Salesforce experience, including building reports and dashboards and working with opportunity, account, and contact data
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleanup)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working with reps and senior leaders
- Self-starter who asks good questions and follows through
Valued but Not Required
- Salesforce Administrator certification, or actively working toward it
- Experience with Gong, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo (or comparable conversation intelligence, sales engagement, and data enrichment tools); admin-level experience is a plus
- Experience creating training materials or enablement content (Confluence, Loom, an LMS, or similar)
What We Offer
- A front-row view of how a SaaS revenue engine runs, working directly with sales leadership, finance, and the exec team
- Real ownership of the sales tech stack (Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, ZoomInfo), with a clear path to full admin ownership
- Your work shows up fast: the reports, guides, and training you build are used by the sales team every week
- Monthly Recharge Day
- Holiday Exchange Program
- Best Self Benefit Program
- Medical Insurance
- Work from Anywhere up to 90 days
