Our collaborative, client-first service approach, combined with our commitment to the rapid implementation of pragmatic solutions, has earned Trilogy an unparalleled reputation for delivering transformative results.

Trilogy Federal is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will design, develop, and modernize Salesforce applications, integrate enterprise systems, and implement intelligent automation that improves business processes and service delivery.

The successful candidate will combine Salesforce development expertise with practical experience using Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, and Salesforce Data 360. Working within a SAFe/Agile environment, this individual will provide technical leadership and collaborate with VA stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Knowledge of federal financial management, accounting, and related business processes is a plus.

Please note, this position is contingent upon customer approval for the role, expected October/November 2026.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, and declarative configuration.

    • Build and maintain secure enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft, supporting data migration, synchronization, and validation.

    • Configure and extend Agentforce agents, Einstein AI capabilities, and Prompt Builder templates using approved enterprise data and workflows.

    • Apply platform security, access controls, AI safeguards, testing, monitoring, and human oversight to support reliable and auditable operations.

    • Manage deployments through Copado and approved CI/CD pipelines; perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

    • Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while participating in SAFe/Agile planning and delivery.

    • Mentor developers and coordinate with Product Owners, architects, administrators, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications.

    • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, data modeling, and platform security.

    • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using APIs and MuleSoft.

    • Practical experience configuring or extending Agentforce agents, developing prompts and custom actions, and testing AI workflows leveraging Einstein AI and Prompt Builder.

    • Experience with Copado, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, debugging, and Agile delivery.

    • Strong written and oral communication, technical leadership, and independent problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

    • VA or other federal government experience, particularly supporting financial management, accounting, budgeting, or related business processes.

    • Experience with Salesforce Data 360, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI governance in regulated environments.

    • Salesforce Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud/Data 360, Copado, or Salesforce Architect credentials.

    • Familiarity with SAFe, Git, Salesforce CLI, and approved AI-assisted development tools.

    • Familiarity with federal security requirements, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

Benefits (including but not limited to)

  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Optional FSA
