Social Media Manager - Senior Care

You'll run social media for a US senior care organization. Most of the job is two things: the calendar and the inbox.

The week starts with the calendar. You'll plan five-10 posts a week across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok a week ahead, for the client's marketing lead to approve.

Families use Facebook and Google to ask about visiting hours, pricing, and open rooms. They also leave reviews, and some of those will be hard to read. You'll answer the routine messages within the agreed window. The sensitive ones go to the right community director, with a short note on what was said.

Weekly, you'll send a report: what went out, which families responded, and how many tour requests came in through social.

Facebook carries most of this work. The people researching senior care are usually adult children in their 40s to 60s, and that's where they are.

You'll work with a US senior care organization and report to the facility manager. Lumikha supports you with strategy and planning and optimization.

• Each community's page shows what daily life there looks like, posted often enough that a family researching care can picture their parent in it.

• 2+ years running social media for a business or brand
• Strong Meta Business Suite skills: scheduling, the inbox, comment moderation, basic insights
• Warm, plain written English, pitched for older adults and their families
• Steady judgment with sensitive comments and reviews, and a clear sense of when to escalate
• Basic photo and short-video editing

• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or another regulated industry
• Google Business Profile management
• Experience running or supporting paid Meta campaigns
