These roles accept candidates based in Europe. Some state the EU specifically, some name a wider European set including the UK and Switzerland, and some are worldwide roles that therefore include Europe.
The EU-versus-Europe distinction is not pedantry here: since Brexit a large number of postings restrict to EU member states for employment and data-residency reasons, and a UK-based candidate is not eligible for those. Where a posting names the EU we record the member states rather than the continent.
Timezone overlap is usually the easier part of a European remote role and the contract structure is the harder one, so check whether the company has an entity in your country or hires through an employer of record.
