Roles here are open to candidates based in the United States, either because the posting says so or because it states worldwide eligibility.
US-eligible is the largest slice of the remote market, which makes the state-level detail worth reading. A significant number of US remote roles exclude specific states — most often California, New York, Colorado and Washington — for tax and pay-transparency reasons. Where a posting names those restrictions we keep the text on the job page rather than flattening it into a country code.
Salary disclosure is also more common in these listings than elsewhere, because several states require it. Use the salary filter to see only roles with a published range.
