Junior Frontend Web Developer

We are seeking a Junior Web Development Engineer who has worked with ReactJS, NextJS, RemixJS in our Frontend Web Development Team.

Expectations and Responsibilities

TypescriptProficiency in Typescript.
Willingness to adhere to code guidelines and grow in writing maintainable code.
Keeping up with the latest Node.js APIs and Typescript updates.



Familiarity with NextJS, and an eagerness to further develop skills in this area.
Exposure to RemixJS is a plus.

CSS / Styling
Basic experience in CSS and styling techniques.
Willingness to learn and apply commonly used CSS libraries such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Bulma.

UI / UX Matters
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Eagerness to contribute to the delivery of user-centric frontend solutions.

Scaling
Awareness of scaling frontend microservices.
Exposure to AWS services is a bonus.

Team Collaboration
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn from experienced team members and contribute to team goals.

Startup Exposure
A desire to work in an early-stage startup environment.
Readiness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup culture.

• Must Have: At least 2 years of work experience in developing web applications, specifically developing in frontend technologies.
• Good to Have: Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

BuildBear is creating the first seamless CI/CD infrastructure for Smart Contracts and Web3 Applications. BuildBear aims to make it easy for Web3 Application owners, Web3 Application Developers and Core Smart Contract Developers to interact with their Smart Contracts, Frontend and Backend in a production grade setting, to build and ship Web3 Applications faster.

BuildBear is founded by Dipesh, who previously built Zapper.fi and has been developing web3 applications since 2017 and Emmanuel, one of the designers of Async Rust {Rust Language Org} and the creator of Valerie {React in Rust}. The project began in 2022 and has been funded by marquee investors, including senior members of Kyber, Typechain, and Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.
