Job description
Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.
At the moment, we're working with Uber to test new EV charging scenarios within the Uber Driver app — a feature currently being rolled out gradually. We're looking for already registered and active Uber drivers in France who drive an Electric Vehicle to help us ensure this feature works as expected in your region. Your feedback will be valuable in ensuring other drivers have a smooth experience using this new functionality.
Device Requirements
- iPhone running iOS 26 or above (tablets and iPads are not allowed)
To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will receive materials to prepare you for testing.
Payrate: $27 USD/hr
- You will be paid per hour, not per issue/bug you find. That way, you get paid even if you don't find any bugs.
- We will reimburse you for any amount spent at charging stations while completing the testing scenarios.
- You can choose to be paid via PayPal or Payoneer for tasks completed on our website.
Benefits of being a freelancer at Testlio
- Schedule: You can create your own schedule and work on other testing runs that interest you.
- Location: Testlio is a 100% remote company. You can work from anywhere.
- Growth: You'll be testing global-scale mobile apps and have the chance to boost your skills and grow your career.
- Payment: You are paid by the hour, not by the bug.
Requirements
- Age: At least 18 years old.
- Location: Must be physically located anywhere in France.
- You must be an existing, active Uber driver.
- You must own/drive an Electric Vehicle.
- Availability: Up to 10 hours total — testing may happen across multiple days, not all in one sitting.
- Cadence: One-time project.
What does testing look like?
- Type of testing: Functional testing of EV charging scenarios within the Uber app.
- Type of work: Short-term, freelance.
- Pay rate: $27 USD/hr.
- Payment: Paid via PayPal or Payoneer. We'll send the USD amount, which you can convert to EUR if more convenient.
